Beloved Father, Brother and Grandfather, 84

Mr. Thomas Leo Reilly, Sr., 84, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.  There will be a memorial visitation at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, March 25 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m. The inurnment will be at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ with Naval Military Honors.

Thomas was born in Jersey City, NJ.  He lived and raised his family in Nutley, NJ for over 50 years.  Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  He was employed as a Senior Project Manager for Hughes Environmental Engineering in Mahwah for 47 years before retiring.  He loved his career at Hughes, taking pride in his work, and sharing his day with colleagues and business owners alike. Thomas loved his early morning tee-offs at Hendricks Field with the boys.

In retirement, Katharine and Thomas enjoyed their global travels, particularly golfing in Ireland. They loved going to Long Beach Island, NJ with their family. 

Thomas adored his family and was very proud of his grandchildren. A highlight in his day was talking to his grandchildren and hearing about their adventures. He always supported his family in their sporting and academic pursuits.

Thomas and Katharine were longtime members of the Nutley Elks Lodge #1290, sharing great memories with friends.

He is survived by his devoted children Bethann Davis and her husband Peter, and Thomas L. Reilly Jr. and his wife Cindy; his brother James Reilly; and his beautiful grandchildren Jack, Kate, Avah and Noah.

Thomas is predeceased by his wife Katharine C. Reilly (2019).
